Vocal cord tuning performed with a KTP Laser will be discussed. Video and audio recordings of normal vocal cords, as well as recordings of patient voices undergoing the various procedures, should offer the audience a better understanding of the voice as well as a better comparison of the results of these procedures than numbers alone do. Three explanations for cross dressing: Take your pick.
Dr. Richard Docter

As with most human behavior, the interaction of many determinants must be taken into account to explain the origins of cross dressing. By focusing on three major theoretical themes, at least some of the major explanatory themes can be highlighted. 1) The brain based model: The main idea is that some combination of events impacted the brain so as to predispose gender learning. In street language, this is known as the “hard wiring” view of what results in cross dressing and transsexuality. 2) When the innate need for intimacy and emotional attachment have been blocked, according to the psychodynamic model, the result can be cross dressing or any of several similar examples of so-called non-relational sexual behavior (e.g., use of pornography, objectification of women, one-night stands). 3) Finally, some argue that something as straightforward as learning can explain cross dressing. What combination of explanations do you favor?
